Women Veterans Health Fair promotes mental and physical wellness

Last Saturday, the Rapid City Regional Hospital in South Dakota and the VA hosted a fair focused on taking care of female veterans to increase awareness of their struggles and improve their quality of life.

New Resources and Opportunities for Young Veterans in Arizona

The state of Arizona recently announced two major efforts to help improve life for veterans. ASU will open a new veterans services center and Governor Jan Brewer has signed a bill into law to that will provide in-state tuition for veterans to any state university.

‘Project 60′ offers housing and support to struggling veterans in LA

Project 60 is a two year project that has targeted 60 of LA’s most at-risk veterans to provide them with much needed housing and then “medical treatment, mental health counseling, addiction rehab, and job training.”
