We love hearing about people making a difference

People Are Talking, and that’s a good thing. The Dryhootch Coffeeshop, a place for Veterans to meet up in Milwaukee, WI is officially open. WISN reports:

The shop’s founder, Bob Curry, said he became an alcoholic after Vietnam because of the post-traumatic stress from which he suffered.

That’s why he joined together with other veterans to create an alcohol- and drug-free place where vets could turn to for support.

“We didn’t know a lot about what we went through and the aftermath. So we didn’t want this younger generation to go through the same thing,” Curry said.
